Introducing the CASE 421G: A New Size Class in Wheel Loader
24th March 2025
Optimised Power and Fuel Efficiency
At the heart of the 421G is a 3.6-litre FPT turbo diesel engine, delivering 72kW (97hp) rated power and 84kW (112hp) peak power at 2,000rpm. The robust 453Nm of torque ensures powerful performance across demanding applications. CASE integrates its reliable FPT SCR-T after-treatment system, meeting stringent EU Stage V emissions standards while improving environmental performance. Standard ECO mode and cruise control further reduce fuel consumption and CO₂ emissions, helping operators lower operating costs without compromising productivity.
Smooth, High-Speed Operation
The engine is matched with a two-speed, shift-on-the-fly hydrostatic transmission that enables seamless shifting between speed ranges. The 421G reaches up to 40km/h, with an optional 20km/h speed limiter. Standard creep mode and heavy-duty axles with front and rear limited-slip differentials – or an optional 100% differential lock – provide maximum traction and control on all terrains.
Compact Yet Capable - Built for Productivity
Designed to perform within compact dimensions, the 421G offers a straight tipping load of 6,500kg (standard bucket), and 5,500kg full turn tipping load. When using pallet forks, full turn tipping load is 4,200kg with a competitive payload capacity of 3,360kg. The hinge pin height reaches 3,707mm on 17.5 R25 tyres, enabling efficient loading of high-sided trucks. A breakout force of 7,161kg, coupled with boom and bucket function settings, boom float and fast hydraulic response, makes the 421G a highly productive machine in tight workspaces.
Operator-Focused Cab Design
The CASE 421G features an ergonomically designed cab that enhances visibility, operator comfort and safety. A lowered front console and increased glazing on the front and right side improve the operator’s view of attachments and site surroundings. A fully-opening secondary door with a sliding window on the right-hand side comes as standard, while external access steps are available as an option. Inside, the cab offers a spacious and modern working environment with seat-mounted joystick controls, a multi-function colour display with intuitive navigation, and a rear-view camera as standard. Operators will also appreciate the USB charging port and dedicated mobile phone holder – small touches that make a big difference on site.
Hydraulic Performance and Versatile Tool Compatibility
The 421G is equipped with a closed centre hydraulic system featuring a variable displacement pump and load-sensing capabilities, allowing smooth and efficient simultaneous operation of the lift arms and bucket. With high-flow hydraulics delivering up to 125 litres/min at 220 bar, this loader is well-suited for a wide range of powered attachments – making it a true multi-purpose tool carrier. Operators can easily adjust hydraulic flow to meet the specific needs of each job.
Built for Performance
The CASE 421G marks the brand’s first entry into the 100hp wheel loader category, bringing the proven performance of the G-Series range into a more compact footprint. With outstanding lifting capabilities, strong hydraulic power, and premium operator experience, the 421G is ideal for construction, recycling, agriculture, quarrying and municipal applications.
Connected Support
To maximise uptime and minimise unplanned costs, the 421G is supported by a full suite of CASE Service Solutions. Standard connectivity features enable remote monitoring of machine health and performance, while CASE SiteConnect provides dealers with real-time alerts for proactive maintenance and faster servicing.
