Senior Finance Manager (FD Designate)

We have a one-stop-shop approach; from New machine sales, After market support, through dedicated parts, service, and workshop teams, Hire requirements, to Used Machine and Part Sales. We are going places, doubling in size in the last two year, with significant growth throughout the UK, now operating from four sites, with plans for another two within the next 12 months.

About the role

Reporting directly to the board, the person in is role will lead our finance and accounting function, based at our Centre of Excellence in Tankersley. Key responsibilities include:
●  All aspects of financial and management reporting & analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
●  Controlling the business’s Treasury function and cashflow requirements.
●  Through a team of seven, managing the daily accounting requirements.
●  Supporting & challenging the full-team by providing clear and timely analysis.

About you

You will need to have a desire to deliver results and grow, along with the following attributes:
●  Experience in working with all departments to improve reporting and profitability.
●  Have the ability to manage all elements of a finance team, both procedure and personnel.
●  Experience of liaising with external funders – asset and working capital.
●  Experience of running profit improvement programs.
●  Have excellent communication skills.
●  Be able to contribute to strategic discussions and direction.
●  Experience valued higher than qualification.
●  15 plus years’ experience in senior finance roles. You will need to have the following personality traits:
●  Hands-on, Open, Team Player, Hardworking, Committed.
●  Be able to see the bigger picture.
●  Confident with peers and the senior team.
