We represent premier brands such as Case Construction, Terex Ecotec, and Keestrack, we deliver our customers’ requirements for all their Earthmoving and Recycling needs. We have a one-stop-shop approach; from New machine sales, After market support, through dedicated parts, service, and workshop teams, Hire requirements, to Used Machine and Part Sales.
We are going places, doubling in size in the last two years, with significant growth throughout the UK we now operate from 4 sites, including a new state of the art PDI centre in Barnsley which opened last year.
We have been a family business for over 50 years with the ethos of “our people are our number one asset.” With this ethos in mind in June 2023 we made the amazing announcement that the business had become an EOT, with every employee now indirectly owning our great business.
We now need to find an experienced Independent Trustee to join the five employee trustees on the board.
The Role
As a member of our board, you will have the important role of ensuring our business is operating in the interests of the beneficiaries (all employees), is creating value for the beneficiaries, and is operating within our guiding principles and company values.
We are seeking either existing trustees or employee ownership champions who are seeking their first trustee appointment. Potential candidates will need to demonstrate the required skill set, along with a core understanding of employee-owned business leadership at work. You will be expected to attend four Board of Trustee meetings, along with any strategy/support days, each year together with the time needed to prepare for these meetings.
Remuneration: Up to £5,000 per year depending on experience, plus any sensible travel expenses.
