The Role

Reporting directly to the PDI Manager, we have exciting opportunities to join Warwick Ward, working as part of an effective team from our Centre of Excellence in Tankersley. The role will involve conducting pre delivery inspections and fitting new heavy plant equipment, with after factory fit equipment to customer requirements and our world-class quality levels.

The Candidate

Attitude and personality are everything; capable of being adaptable, flexible, working independently, but within a committed team in our busy workshop environment.

• Ideally you should be able to demonstrate basic electrical and hydraulic knowledge, in areas such as:
• Soldering / lights / beacons / alarms / radios / cameras
• Hydraulic Hitches / setting pressures / fitting hydraulic attachments
• Knowledge of current heavy plant equipment with mechanical / fitting skills would be desirable.
• Must have key attention to detail and work at a high standard to agreed targets.
• Able to record details – either handwritten or electronic / IT literate.

The Package

• Basic Working Hours - 40 hours per week
• Significant opportunities for overtime and Saturday working if desired
• Hourly Rate: Up to £15.00 per hour DOE
