Trainee Used Parts Assistant

Reporting to the Used Parts Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Used Parts Assistant to join our team. This is a role where you will have every opportunity to develop and grow with our business.

This role is a fully encompassing role and will involve outside yard-based activities along with administrative functions.

Full training will be given to enable you to carry out the following duties:

• Selling used parts
• Locating and identifying parts from yard locations
• Communicating with customers (in person, on the phone, via email)
• Organising logistics and taking card payments.
• All admin associated with used parts sales (invoicing, dispatch paperwork, etc.)
• Updating parts and machines on our website

As well as the desire to learn and develop, ideally you will:

• Have good computer literacy skills and knowledge
• Be proficient in handling administrative tasks, invoicing, and marketing responsibilities
• Have the ability to address and resolve issues independently and efficiently
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs.
• Be capable of managing the full scope of the role independently, especially in the absence of the Used Parts Manager. The package
• Salary on commencement - £27,000 per annum
• Based on a 40-hour week (8:00 – 16:30)
• Full Training courses will be provided
• 32 days holiday including bank holidays + Birthday Leave and holiday purchase options

Subject to qualifying periods:

• Annual attendance bonus
