Trainee Used Parts Assistant

With over 50 years industry expertise, we are a family business, and all our team members are key to our success.Reporting to the Used Parts Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Used Parts Assistant to join our team. This is a role where you will have every opportunity to develop and grow with our business.
This role is a fully encompassing role and will involve outside yard-based activities along with administrative functions.
Full training will be given to enable you to carry out the following duties:
- Selling used parts
- Locating and identifying parts from yard locations
- Communicating with customers (in person, on the phone, via email)
- Organising logistics and taking card payments.
- All admin associated with used parts sales (invoicing, dispatch paperwork, etc.)
- Updating parts and machines on our website
As well as the desire to learn and develop, ideally you will:
- Have good computer literacy skills and knowledge
- Be proficient in handling administrative tasks, invoicing, and marketing responsibilities
- Have the ability to address and resolve issues independently and efficiently
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs.
- Be capable of managing the full scope of the role independently, especially in the absence of the Used Parts Manager. The package
- Salary on commencement - £27,000 per annum
- Based on a 40-hour week (8:00 – 16:30)
- Full Training courses will be provided
- 32 days holiday including bank holidays + Birthday Leave and holiday purchase options
Subject to qualifying periods:
- Annual attendance bonus
