Service Team Co-ordinator with a proactive and flexible approach to cover a variety of daily duties.
Responsibility for managing all aspects of the Field Service Engineers work schedules.
Providing first class customer service and customer relationship management
Working hours - 0730 to 1630 Monday to Friday.
Duties
- Ensure the smooth running of the service desk, handling incoming customer calls and delivering excellent customer service, written and verbal
- Coordination of engineering resources in terms of ability, availability and location
- Process parts orders for engineers stock
- Manage the parts counter, dealing with customers and liaising with the New Parts Department (Barnsley) on customer requirements
- Taking card payments
- Updating systems, allocating parts to jobs
- Ensure accurate completion of paperwork
- Stock control – monitor stock levels and replenish to maintain minimum levels and manage stock rotation
- Carry out perpetual stock checks on a weekly basis - Report any anomalies to line manager
- Picking parts for Field Service Engineers on a daily basis
- Packing of goods for despatch
- Receipt of goods inwards – checking goods delivered and signing documentation
- Loading and unloading consignments with forklift
- General housekeeping – ensuring depot is clean, accessible at all times and free of hazards
- Control of oil stores – waste oils, filters, barrels etc.
- Ensuring packaging is reused, recycled or disposed of correctly
- Manage waste collections
- Issue of PPE and consumables to employees following procedure
- Be a key holder for the depot and responsible for opening and closing the depot on a daily basis
- Manage depot security

- Flexible in approach - tasks may need to be completed during breaks eg unloading of deliveries
